How do you make your own 'special' website creation?

It's easy and simple to build a website if you use the right tools.

This first step is where it all starts, and if you get website building right at the beginning things will be easier down the road.

Building a website isn't difficult - once you know how!

First you need to be clear as to what you want your site to do.

Do you know why you want a web site and what that site is going to do for you or for your business?

Do you need website traffic?

So before we begin let me ask you some simple questions.

Is it just because it’s possible and you fancy having a personal site or do you want to build a real e-business that will generate money? 

If it’s a personal thing that’s easy to get a top search especially if, you have an unusual name. All you need is an easy free website with free hosting and a submission to Google.

If your name were say Georgie Piddleduck, I would say you’ve every possibility of being number one on the search engines. If it’s John Smith you may have to work a bit harder.

If it’s a business application you want.

Ask yourself what is the main service or product you want to get over to people. Then build your site around that. If you sell bikes it’s not good to have a website title www.wheelbarrows.com. It makes things harder.

If all you require is a brochure on the web that your customers can view or your staff can view. Then a simple site would be sufficient. If people know where to find your site, it’s immaterial whether your Number one or number one thousand on the search engines.

If you want to find new customers then it is imperative that your website building is done with this in mind.

The Internet hosts billions of pages so you want your website to be as easy to find as possible, because more visitors will result in more customers, if you are offering a good deal. You need to focus on website promotion.

If you’re going to sell direct then you will have to have a good tracking system built in to your site. If however you operate as an affiliate you only need to track things outside of your website with good website links and link a website with your own.

I operate both.

Once you have a clear idea of what you want from your website you can then move on to the second stage of website building and easy website creation.

You can do it yourself or choose someone else (outsource) to do it for you or you could like me decide to have a mixture of the two.

Outsourcing is mainly done by larger businesses who just buy the complete service from specialist website building and search engine optimisation companies. New search engine optimisation sites are opening all the time.

I chose to build a website and to do it mainly on my own because I fancied the challenge and it was an awful lot cheaper.

I don’t know all the jargon or much html code.

I am not technically capable but I have managed to get traffic to my websites.

How much time you are willing to commit to website building will determine how much you will outsource.

If you are technically capable and you can devote the time then the more you can do yourself.
